SNAPSHOTS AND SCENES [OCTOBER 2017]
It’s time for Snapshots and Scenes October 2017! October began with a trip for me – to the docks near our home to embark upon a day of Blog Camp onboard the MSC Preziosa. I managed to get a nautical themed dress for the day and had fun walking about the ship and learning. Unsurprisingly, October’s Snapshots and Scenes for us features Hallowe’en – the boys were dressed as FNAF characters and had the best time wandering about the crescent, collecting candy and chocolate from our neighbours.
Earlier the same month, I dialed 999 at 2am and poor Lyoto was collected within minutes for the first [and hopefully last] ambulance ride of our lives. Croup decided to take his breath away and he needed some steroids in hospital to recover. We were so well looked after and thought everything was back to normal – and then Hero decided he also needed the same middle of the night treatment two days later. Thankfully it wasn’t as bad as Yotie’s condition – but it was terrifying all the same. Croup isn’t fun.
One of the highlights of the month for me was an invite to the Walt Disney Company’s Hallowe’en party. Held at One Embankment, it was SO much fun – and I got to see the Noisettes live there too. If only I hadn’t been driving that night I’d have enjoyed so many more cocktails than the sip that I had! I managed to get into trouble with the Stormtroopers in any case.
October was also the month that we visit the pumpkin patch – and this year we also managed to get a family photo thanks to a very kind visitor there. That’s it for Snapshots and Scenes October 2017!
