Disney's Frozen: Melted Sven the Reindeer Yoghurts

Reindeer don't usually melt in Summer, but if they did, this would be their yoghurty equivalent.

Equipment

  • Spoon
  • Cups for Yoghurt
  • Piping Bag
  • Greaseproof Baking Paper
  • Tray

Ingredients

  • 1 tub Yoghurt of your choice [we used peach smooth]
  • 12 Sugar eyeballs [we used Wilton Sprinkles]
  • 6 Red jellybeans
  • 12 Mini Chocolate Jazzy Buttons
  • 2 bars Milk chocolate [you can use dark if you prefer]

Instructions

  • The night before, make the arms! Line a tray with baking paper and melt your chocolate. I broke two bars [the kind you can get in a 4 pack] of Cadbury Dairy Milk into chunks and placed them in a microwaveable bowl.
  • Microwave chocolate for one minute and then stir until all of the lumps are out. Do not microwave more, or it will become grainy at best or volcanic at worst and your house will smell of burned chocolate. You can also use a bain marie, which is often safer.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into a piping bag and snip a tiny piece of the end so that the diameter of the hole is around 2 or 3mm.
  • Freehand draw Sven's antlers. It's easy. I do a line as long as I need them to be - around 3 inches - and then I go back over it and make a branch or two. They don't have to be perfect, just antler-like!
  • Leave to set or place in the refrigerator if you're having a hot day like we did yesterday!
  • In the morning, spoon the yoghurt into bowls and then pop in his antlers. Add the eyeballs, jellybean nose, chocolate jazzy buttons and and snowflake sprinkles if you have some too, and serve.
