SWEETIES, CALENDARS AND STOCKING FILLERS 2018

Sharing is caring!

One of my favourite categories to shop for at Christmastime is stocking fillers.  I just love all of the little bits and pieces that help put a smile on someone’s face but don’t cost the earth. So, here are some of the lovely items we were sent that we thought were just perfect for this post – Sweeties, Calendars and Stocking Fillers 2018!

Swizzels

Everyone in our family LOVES Swizzels sweeties!  We all have a favourite – Hero is all about the Monster lollies, I’m with the Dip Dab, Jens is the Squashies, Gav is the Drumsticks and Lyoto is the Love Hearts – and Granny is Parma Violets, when she’s visiting.  We have the BIGGEST tub of sweeties from them – and they were just lovely to us at Hallowe’en too!   So make sure you don’t run out of them either, treat yourself!

Reese’s Pieces Advent Calendar

Gav and I have been huge fans of Reese’s since we discovered them at the Fireworks and Ice Cream party at our wedding in Walt Disney World.  Since then we get excited every Christmas when we see them in the shops!

Playmobil

Every year we celebrate with a Playmobil Calendar or two – this is the Secret Agent one which Lyoto has fallen in love with.  It’s fantastic value and comes with a pop up background for creating as you open the doors!

Haribo Advent Calendar

Haribo are probably nearly a food group in our home.  Hero loves the “spicies” [Tang-fastics] and this calendar has so many cute little sweeties in it that we haven’t seen before including Christmas sweeties!  Haribo sent us SO many tasty sweets this year that we took some into the local food bank too.  We’re so grateful!

Marvel Avengers Infinity War Wall Calendar

We’re a Marvel loving family and this calendar is fantastic!  It’s split so that when it’s your birthday month, you can still feature your favourite character instead of having to make do with whomever is the poster hero for your month!

Elvis Limited Edition Calendar

There’s no one in my life who doesn’t know how much I love Elvis.  Yotie even has Elvis as a middle name.  I was beside myself when I was sent this gorgeous calendar from Danilo – it looks like an album and has so many beautiful photos inside.  This one is ALLLLL for me. Haha.

Harry Potter Desk Cube Calendar and To Do Notes

Weekly to do pads are high on my list of stocking fillers – I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t love one – and this Harry Potter one from Danilo is perfect for fans!  It even has an extra little margin for notes which I love for shopping lists!  Alongside the notes is a really amazing calendar, a bit like a Rubik’s cube – you can turn it this way and that to see the months and characters!

Top Quarkz

Top Quarkz is a fun, science-based card game that encourages younger members of your family to learn more about the scientists who have made amazing discoveries in life. It’s described as Science Trumps for Superheroes and the illustrations are so much fun. Jensen has been having fun learning about scientists he’d never heard of before in a creative way!

Canine Chaos

Another gorgeous card game to pop in the stockings this year is the fast paced card swapping game, Canine Chaos from Ginger Fox.  I chuckled my way through the card pack as I discovered Colly Parton, Dave Growl and Spaniel L Jackson amongst others!  The aim is to collect as many sets of dogs as possible from the 100 cards, which are all gorgeously illustrated and with a beautuful colour scheme too.

Dear Zo Puzzle Tray

We were sent the most perfect stocking filler for Hero this year – the Dear Zoo puzzle tray.  He adores the book and was blown away when he saw that this puzzle tray has the reasons for the animals having to be sent back underneath!  We bought one of these for the boy’s little Cousin, Fox, too as we loved it so much!

Disclosure: We were gifted these samples without any obligation to post about them.  We have chosen the items which suited our family and readers best to show you.
