It’s time to catch up with the week and look back on the good and the not so wonderful things in our lives. I like doing these posts this year because it’s holding me accountable to record the everyday moments, whether they’ve been photographed or not.
Pancake making at Beavers. This year I took my pancake maker and my group made big fluffy buttermilk pancakes and ate them until they couldn’t eat anymore. This year we also cheated with Krusteez because, well, we wanted big pancakes – fast. Ha ha. There were no complaints from my lodge.
I have a photograph of me and the boys from the pumpkin patch! I emptied the other camera card this week and had no idea it was on there with a bunch of others Gav took. I’m so in love with it. Sure, they’re not all looking the right way, but I love that I was actually in a photograph there this year. Haha. Victory!
I’ve had the most gorgeous new products arrive from the Disney Store from their OhMyDisney range. I’m so in love with them – they’ll be on the blog next week.
I’m still lost at sea with my balance and more than a little miserable that I can’t go out walking alone anywhere or drive. No exercise means I’m pretty cranky and my dresses are getting sooo much tighter :/
Beans got a little butter splatter on his face near his eye during the pancake making at Beavers. I felt so awful but there’s no lasting damage and he was fine after a few minutes and a cuddle whilst I bathed his skin where it had hit.
I have a fantastic meeting in London next week [hooray!], on Jensen’s birthday, which I feel awful about – and he’s so sad about too.
I’ve got a ridiculous cold on top of everything.
This week I’ve decided to start joining in with the Little Loves linky – so here are my own Little Loves this week…
More Agatha Raisin [M C Beaton]. I can’t stop reading them. I hop into bed and read myself to sleep. I’ll be so sad when I’ve gotten to the end of the collection – which is 200 pages away.
We’ve just finished The Crown second series and now we’re onto Big Little Lies. I read it on my way to Photokina last year and finally I’m watching the series. In the day, we’re watching Scooby Doo, Puppy Dog Pals and Vampirina. Today Hero asked to see my wedding video with Mickey Mouse in it today so we spent the morning drinking cups of tea and lemonade and reminiscing [he still thinks he was there, in my tummy].
I’ve made a start on my new planner. It’s a Law of Attraction Planner and I love it. I need to get into the hang of actually using it, not just having it there as decoration.
My new Ugg Boots and my cashmere wrap. It’s been SO cold that when I’m not wearing my dressing gown, I’m wearing a big wrap around the house. My boots I can’t take off when I go out because I’ve never had a pair of shoes that haven’t instantly caused me some pain when wearing. It’s like wearing slippers and they’re so pretty with little bows on the back. I’ve wanted a pair for over 14 years now and I finally have some! This week I threw away two pairs of my old boots to try and declutter somewhat and make room for my new boots.
The songs from Coco – I loved them, every single one. Hero sings “Remember me” around the house and it makes my heart melt. He’s adorable.
I’m utterly and completely in love with the new #OhMyDisney range at the Disney Store. So in love. And it’s nearly my birthday *wink wink, husband*
