Hello again – it’s time to look back at the week and collect the unphotographed memories of our family together. What made us happy [Floating Boats] and what made us sad [Sinking Ships]…
We all managed to go and see Coco together at the new cinema in Southampton – and now I’m quite spoiled. Those chairs, the lack of people chatting behind your seat – it was bliss. Beans decided to try and sing every part of the songs he could remember and kept making little signals to Gav to let him know what was coming up in the movie. Haha.
I saw the ENT consultant who has referred me for an MRI and hearing test. I’m very pleased I’m having the investigations so swiftly. Being couped indoors and having to rely on other people to help me isn’t fun.
Jens enjoyed a fun playdate with his friend across the street. Seeing him happy and not confused about friendships and school was so good.
The price of snacks in the cinema! Seriously, one bag of Maltesers, three fizzy drinks, one bottle of water and two bags of medium popcorn – £30! It’s such a disgrace. For one trip to the cinema for a family of five it cost us £110. That’s more than my first week’s wages were.
I’m still suffering with the imbalance and pressure. Every morning I wake up hoping it will have disappeared, but instead I’ve caught a ridiculous sneezing, yucky cold and sore throat to join in the germy jamboree.
