PHOTOKINA 2016: COLOGNE PHOTO WALK

Sharing is caring!

I love photowalks.  The chance to roam and wander, seeking images that suit your own style, to be able to show the world the way that you see life around you.  I’ve only visited Germany once before, on my 30th birthday whilst teaching in Strasbourg, but it was beautiful then – and it was beautiful now.  It’s definitely true for me that since picking up my first DSLR camera in 2013 I began to see the world around me differently, but the more I learn, the more I see.  And what I do see is the beauty in the everyday.  Pavements, trees, skylines…the colours of the changing seasons.  I want to capture it all.  Here’s what I saw in a 45 minute walk around this beautiful, busy part of Deutschland during my Cologne photo walk.Photokina Cologne Köln Photowalk Sistermag CEWE PhotoworldThis part reminded me of Germany around the lake in the World Showcase at EPCOT, Walt Disney World.  Then this man appeared and began singing and playing – it could not have gotten any better. Photokina Cologne Köln Photowalk Sistermag CEWE Photoworld
