Peppa AND modelling dough? Last week we were playing with the Peppa Pig Alphaphonics Campervan and now we’re back with more Peppa Pig toys – but today I’m getting a bit of rest. I’m looking forward to a semi-peaceful cup of tea this evening when the boys all get in from school and join Hero. The Peppa Pig Softee Dough Picnic Playset arrived just before J and L left this morning [reminding Hero not to open it before they got home] and I’m betting it was all they talked about on the drive to school with the mister.
The Peppa Pig Softee Dough Picnic Playset set contains:
- 5 tubs of dough with moulded lids [Peppa, Mommy Pig, Danny Dog, Rebecca Rabbit and Pedro Pony]
- A thick paper picnic mat for displaying creations
- 4 cutters – Peppa, Rebecca, Mr. Dinosaur, Danny Dog
- Crafting scalpel and scissors
- Dough press
- Fruit shaped mould tray
- Most importantly, a big picnic box to keep it all [and more] in!
The boys have played together with the Peppa Pig Softee Dough Picnic Playset for about 50 minutes so far.
That there’s a purpose to the set – you’re creating a picnic for Peppa and friends. Often we get playdoh and if they’re not feeling creative, at least one of them is complaining that they don’t know what to make.
That it’s so easy to pack away, with no excuses. Everything fits into the picnic basket.
George was featured in the Peppa Pig Softee Dough Picnic Playset – the boys have been cutting Peppa’s dress into a rounded shape at the bottom to make George.
The mat was plastic so that it could be used more. We don’t think it will last long.
There had been some little plastic plates for the picnic food to be displayed on.
We were sent the Peppa Pig Softee Dough Picnic Playset in exchange for our honest review – you can buy yours at Character Online for £12.99.
