night bathtime hosted a new visitor this week… Mitter ‘Kinnywegs!
(Mister Skinnylegs). I was lucky enough to find him rifling through the
throws that had been hung outside on the line to dry whilst getting the
towels ready for our Little (muddy) Adventurer and Baby Dragon.
could not extend his arm fast enough. “I want to hold him! Hello,
Mitter Kinnywegs! You want a bath? Momma, he have a bath with me and Roh-toe?”
This week we have been talking
about how some animals cannot go in water (snails) or they die. I’m not
beating around the bush with this topic; I’m making it very clear to
him that some creatures (like us, crucially) cannot breathe water.
Anyhow, of course he got to play with Mitter Kinnywegs and we told him that sadly Mitter K could not join in the buttermilk and honey soaked fun.
Dragon was not amused. He was more interested in watching his big
brother. Look at his little cheeks! I just want to eat him, even
looking at photos of him. He’s gorgeous. So gorgeous 🙂
was so delighted that his brother was joining him in the bath again;
enthusiastically showing him the bath toys again and talking to him
Jensen fills the bath with Matey bubbles (I let him have these sometimes since he
was 1 year old…every toddler loves bubbles, and I had Matey as a child too 🙂 ) but he understands that brother cannot have these and
he needs Burt’s Bees instead. “We smell like bees and honey!” he told
Baby Dragon was coming down with something (he had a temperature today, we think it was the immunisations last week)
and he was not in the mood for a bath particularly, but he was soooo
yummy when he came out. I think he knew it too 😉
After a blissful splash for Jensen and some animated bedtime tales, Dadda got Jensen to bed pretty swiftly in time for the Silva vs. Sonnen UFC match 😉 More on that coming up…
