As my days are numbered now we’re into February, the party planning is continuing. My poor little adventurer had a hard time getting to sleep last night and woke up at midnight for a little cuddle, and then we fell asleep holding hands. I love that; if it wasn’t for the fact I need as much rest as I can get at the moment, I could stay away and watch his peaceful, innocent little face as he snorks away next to me.
In any case, I got to do some more planning today as Jensen Indiana spent the day with Nanny and Grandad visiting the local pet store to look at the fish, and playing Hungry Hippos with the grandson of Nanny’s neighbour.
This morning his invites finally arrived! I think they’re cute.
Gav’s idea for a game is a treasure map hunt. I wish it was my idea, as it’s simple but fun for the children to do. I might have a go even 😉 So all we need are pirate maps (which my super friend Crystal has ordered for me), some red X’s for marking the spot and a prize. Jensen Indiana will decide where the treasure is buried on the map and the person closest to the correct spot will win! I’ve been trying to think of prizes and found these conveniently on the Disney Store website.
So we’ll see. I also spotted Skully, which looks amazingly like him for a stuffed toy! I hate sometimes when you buy an official toy and it looks nothing like the actual character you know and love.
Completely off the subject of planning the party, these are now available in the Disney Store… I want them. So much. Imagine his little toes peeping through these. They are perfect for picnicking and things like that. I’ll find any excuse to get them….just wait and see 😉
